The Locked Room was a performative session run by the artist involving the student participants having to record every idea they could remember having over a set period of time. The event had a series of strict rules; no talking, no eating, switch off mobile phones, no sharing of ideas, drink only water, no mp3s or iPods, write the date in the middle of your paper, write down every idea you have had in a year, make connections.
