This is an unrealised proposal to create a film project based on Bruegel’s painting. The plan is to employ children at a school to collaborate in creating a film version of the painting. The project would involve a series of workshops exploring the different games depicted and their cultural significance, as well as looking at the development of playground games. The culmination of the project would be a performance of the games depicted, which would be filmed.
